I always enjoyed Lite Brite, Barbies, Hotwheels, Big Wheel, skateboards, jump rope, chinese jump rope, clackers, Legos and some other toys I'll remember when others post them! Like most kids, I adored my bike, which gave me untold freedom.

I loved LiteBrite, too. I can't remember the name of this, but it was something that you cooked this liquid in molds that were bug shaped and they came out rubbery. I also loved my Barbie's and the Barbie house with the elevator. Spirograph and a spinning thing that splattered paint designs out, wire art, One of my favorite things to do, though, was draw at my father's old drafting table set up in the basement. I spent hours down there creating things.

Oh, Chinese jump rope!! I forgot all about that=I loved it!

Cass DH says the bug thing was called Creepy Crawlers he and his brothers had one of them it was one of their fave things to play with!

Your drafting board reminded meI had a big chalk board in the basement on the wall and used colored chalks. But the basement was scary and I hated going down there all by myself!

LOL Sam !! My DD Rachel had an imaginary friend, she was so convincing I felt like I could see her sometimes!

Penny- I was a fish in the Summer too. Nothing mattered more to me than hopping in the river and staying in till Mom or Dad dragged me out. I always put my bathingsuit on 1st thing in the morning!

OK Karen & Laura- what are clackers??

Sam- your 64 crayons reminded me that my Mom kept my box of 64 crayons in the desk, and I had to ask for them, and was encouraged to take only one out at a time, and to not press hard and break them. They were precious for some reason-and for special coloring projects! For everyday coloring I had a box of the chubby crayons.
