For Christmas, I asked DH for the Joann's Quilting Center Craft Cart... I wasn't sure how I'd like it but after putting it together, it fits in my space perfectly. It opens up to work on large projects or to work with friends and folds down to a remote corner of the room when I don't want it in site.
Not a lot of storage but I did use the drawers for my rubber stamps. Hurray!! I think I might actually scrap this weekend!
I haven't tried to post pics on this site yet, but I'll try this PM.

I'd like to see it. I spent the better part of yesterday reorganizing my basement so I can use my scrapbook area better. I'll probably never get rid of my SBing desk since it is just an old desk my Dad made me years (and years) ago. I'm too sentimental to let it go. But the rest of that "rat hole" is getting finished today!

I posted the pics of my room under the layouts section. The Joann's table is wonderful for me b/c it gives me a huge work space or shared space when I need it, yet it can fold up and get out of the way if need be. It's also counter top height which allows me to sit or stand while working.
    I love this new table!!!

Baseball Mom... go get 'em!! Start the new year scrapping!!

Lori S.... can u use a small electric heater down there? I used to have one in my old basement work area b/c it was so damp and when the heat wasn't kicking on... it was cold!
Hope you carve out a space for yourself!
