I was on a website earlier where they was using a scorer and I've never known before what they was used for till I seen a pattern they was using a scorer on and now I'm all about getting one.
This is the one I seen them using.

If anyone knows of HL, JA, or M carrying this item or where I might could find one, cause I don't have a LSS and would like a good scorer...Please let me know....TIA

If you have one of the Fiskars 12" standard paper cutters, there is a scorer "blade" that comes with the refill packs. It's black.

Sheri... I learned to use my cutting board.

Instead of drawing the cutter through the slide you put you paper in just like you were going to cut but use the embossing stylus and draw it through the cutting slot and it will keep it straight. You can also use a dry ball point pen. I like having a guide on both sides of the stylus.

I saw this the other day also. If you get this don't forget to use hook and eye tape to put the guide on the top edge of board when your paper is too large to use it. It will keep it from getting lost.

You all are great...I do have the fiskars trimmer, but I'll have to get the refill pack with the scorer...I just liked that one cause of how it measured your scores ect....guess a ruler and my bone folder would work just as well...Thanks ya'll for the great ideas and saving me some money....I'm bad for collecting as it is.....lol
