Hello everyone! We are finally upstairs and although the electrician bugged on us and the furnaces still do not have power (all together now, stick out your tongues at the electrician!) it is warmer than the basement by at least 10 degrees! We do have a bit more plastic to put up but we are almost there. The heating and ac guy says he will run the power to the furnaces and he is supposed to call tomorrow! In the meantime I am getting ready to tackle the Halloween costumes, way behind on that due to the construction/move. Everything that needed to come up from the basement had to be washed first, it was awful, between the construction dust, clay dirt and dog hair I felt like pigpen (only with a bit more hair). I promise I will be taking and posting pics real soon. I won't be able to any of my crafting except for small projects I can carry up here to do. All my supplies are in the basement and it's too cold to do anything down there except run down to move laundry around.

Lori, just take care of your family in this move. Those little ones need their Halloween costumes! Glad to see you here for a bit.

Lori, sorry to hear about your heat situation. My DH is an electrician and he is always amazed at how electricians can just leave people stranded like that. It's good for us because he gets the business , but not good for the ones who get left stranded. It seems to be a real problem with many electricians.

    Hope you get heat soon.

Lori, hope you get your heat real soon. Keep warm thoughts by thinking of how it will be when all is finished like you have planned. I have been there, but we were able to get it finished by the 1st of October, just before bad weather crept in. It will be worth all the hard work and frustration when you are through. And yes, we've been waiting for an electrician to do a job for us for 2 years.....and he's a friend!!
