Hi Ok I think I read somewhere that the weight of this paper is like a copy machine paper ... right?? Well I was in a office supply store and bought 2 packs of multi colors - one brights and one pastels...(trying to get a variety of greens for leaves!! ) They just don't have the shades like in cardstock...LOL.

I also got some cool pearlized cream and some silver looking paper... I'm sure I can use it for something...LOL.

I hope I got the right paper it was 24 lb weight. Now to try this...

    Clarinda -
These are exactly what you need !
weight should be 20 to 24 lb per Angie.
I have bot the same ones, and you would not believe the difference than using cardstock - it is just TOO heavy!
I used the "Granite White" Fine papers for the flowers I posted last night.

Clarinda.. yes, it appears you have purchased the right type of paper. You are NOT wrong about greens... it is the bane of my life.. looking for good greens. But do remember one thing.. it doesn't matter unless you're doing flat pages for scrapbooking, if the paper isn't acid free. If I am after a certain colour I buy anything that will work.. evelopes.. wrapping papers.. I've seen someone use a placemat from McDonalds to make a flower.. tomato for the red.. lettuce for the green I got a beautiful card at Christmas time that had a gold envelope.. it punched wonderful leaves for one of the cards I was doing. You'll find yourself looking at everything when you are shopping.
I don't know if you have the same sort of shop but over hear there are shops where you can buy paper to make your own wedding invitations and that type of thing. These shops are just wonderful and have some of the most luxurious papers..
Janelle.. The lady who wrote the Paper Garden uses only cardstock.. I do not know for the life of me WHY and HOW she manages it.. it's awful and it bends, creases... YUK!
Use the right paper and as you know.. it will look lovelly.
WELL DONE on the flowers you sent me.. you're really doing well...

    love ya all... Angie

Wow .. Janelle.. what praise form Angie. But she doesn't need them do you want my mail address?? lol

Maybe I'll get time to try it tonight...we'll see.

Well I'm glad I bought the right stuff after spending the money but thought I could use the papers for something ... if it wasn't right. Janelle did you see the pearlized the papers right next to the assortments?? I just had to get some even though it was the same money for a lot less.
