I can't find the thread where this was discussed so I'm starting a new one.

Someone mentioned that Photoshop has a built in way to organize by keyword. (Was that you, Cass?) I decided to try that with the latest freebie I downloaded, so I created a few keywords, like 'ribbon' 'paper' 'button' etc. In theory, I thought it would work great. But what I'm finding is that when I try to click on keywords, it will only let me add them to .jpg files and not .png files.

I'm using Bridge, found as part of PSE5 for Mac. If anyone has any advice, I'd love to hear it.

    Thanks!

    Well,
I found a partial answer to my own question. Apparently Adobe doesn't support metadata in some formats, including PNG files. So using keywords for organization won't work. I'll have to figure out another way to search for elements. Any tried and true ideas out there?

Yes, it was me. I think it was on the Adobe seminar I took with Linda Sattgast. She showed tagging photos and paper and stuff and even mentioned tagging with the designers name, etc. I can't seem to find how to get the re-run of the seminar.
