Does anyone have a Wishblade? Is it worth saving the money for? Is it easy to use? Thanks.

It looks like you still have to use certain fonts that are designed to work with the machine. It would be well worth the money if you could use any font from the net.

I like using the site: http://www.myfonts.com to get an idea for a font. I type in the "style of font" that I would like such as "fun" or "kids" and it gives me a list of fonts. Click the test drive button and type in the word you want and it shows you the word in that font. Pretty neat.

Anyhoo, back to the wishblade. The description makes it sound like you have to buy their font packages, but can use any image that you have or one from a collection they offer.

If this contest is a success for this site, maybe they will give out a wishblade next time. It seems like something that would be cool to give out. I guess they just want people to post here. If we keep posting, maybe it will encourage them to give out more stuff.

Yes from what I have seen all you have is an inital output of about $500. which includes all the wires etc. And that is it. Never again pay for a thing unless of course you really want one of their programs. But why in the world would you do that when all you need is a picture shape scanned into your computer to make it work. I am saving my pennies, it might take a while but This is the machice for me.

I think you can cut out shapes, too and also things you draw - not sure how that works, though.

The Craft Robo is basically the same, and I hear it can be found for about $300-315. So that's a bit more reasonable. I think I'm going to get one, but may wait to hear about CHA, if cricut has wishblade capabilities.

I wanted the WB but then someone told me about the CR and now I want to wait for CHA and what changes Cricut has made to their machine.
