    Hi everyone,

I am a recent convert to scrapbooking. I live in a small town with a very small local scrapbook store, the closest Michael's, Hobby Lobby or JoAnn's is about a six hour round trip for me. My question, if you shop on-line what are some of your favorite places to shop?

    TIA
    Delo

Hi Delo, I think that you are truely missing out by not having a Michaels, AC Moore Or JoAnn's close by. They seem to always offer great 40 and 50 percent off sales and I don't really think that they are available by shopping online.

I would suggest that you use the power of google to search for the best prices for what you are looking for. Google has a shopping search called Froogle http://www.froogle.com and if you type in what you are looking for it wil give you the results with the option to display the results in different orders such as low-priced to high-priced.

Yo may find that by using that Froogle site you will stumble upon some of the lesser known online shopping sites that have prices that are really competitive with the big shops.

I agree that having a store close by is a big plus. I try to shop around when buying stuff online because I have noticed that the prices vary greatly from site to site for the same stuff. Thanks for the froogle.com site. I think that will be used for more than just scrapbooking stuff by my family

    Here's a couple more...

    www.addictedtoscrapbooking.com

    www.scrapbookclearance.com

    www.store.scrapbooking-warehouse.com/manufacturer-home.html

And always check out ebay too. There is a seller there by the name of shelley103. From time to time she lists MANY stickers and embellishments (brand new) and free shipping if your order is $20 or more. Last time I got 18 things for $24. It would have been $50 easy if I had bought it at stores for full price. Hope this helps, and happy scrappin!!!

    A couple more....
    http://www.shoprememberwhen.com
    http://www.rockymountainhobbies.com
    http://www.scrappershaven.com

http://www.ebay.com you can find some great deals, I always look around at stores before I bid, to ensure I get a good deal. There are some people who run the price up, and you can buy it online cheaper. I also read the reviews before I bid.

    Enjoy shopping!
