Photo tinting is something I have never tried. I have been meaning on taking some pics of flowers and having them converted to black and white and then tinting them. I thought they'd make a cute set of note cards.
I just had the most fun 'tinting' an old black and white photo. It was scary, at first, but as I got into it, it began to take on a life of its own. I used colored pencils and chalk to turn a black and white photo that I had blown up on photo paper (not the glossy kind but the kind used for high-quality documents...more like a typing sheet of paper) into a tinted colored photo. I think it turned out pretty good considering. I will try to get this uploaded to my computer so that you can see the layout.
AND I finally have the layout finished for my little raccoons that we found, orphaned, this summer. I will post them on the layout thread sometime this weekend, also.
I am finally taking some time to scrapbook. It has been so fun that I have a hard time doing anything else, like cleaning the house, cooking, and babysitting my grandkids!!!! I have become a 'Grandma-missing-in-action'Good thing the kids are self-entertaining!!!

I never thought of doing that. Cool idea, I will have to try that. Thank you for sharing.
I have heard of this but never done it. Thanks for sharing this with us. I know about the grandma missing in action!( I am one too) So much to do and try and so little time.

Judy, I'm looking forward to seeing your finished picture. I've seen the professionally tinted ones, but I would be interested in trying it also.

Hey judy! i did the same thing! Very cool isn't it?
Taffy, it IS fun! I made another layout with a partially tinted photo. I will take a photo of my layouts and get them posted...perhaps tomorrow (Sunday). I'd love to see yours, too, Taffy! Be careful not to do too much with that whiplashed neck!
