My heart goes out to those families who are and have suffered flood damage from all the rain. The midwest and Texas have really suffered this summer, while parts of the south can't buy a drop. We just saw our first light shower in more than 5 weeks, as I watched the news about the flooding in OH., MN., WI., and TX. We need heavy thunderstorms everyday for the next 22 days to recover from our drought and lowered lake and river levels. Many of the counties around us are on water restrictions, yet the rivers, creeks and lakes can't hold the water in the midwest. It really doesn't seem fair that some areas get no rain and other areas get too much.

Yeah, we could use that rain too badly. We've been on water restrictions forever here.
