Your layouts are like my first ones, too! That is how I started out! Then I started to observe what others did, paged through scrapping magazines, and watched the scrapbooking program with Sandy Geneovese on DIY. With these various avenues of crafting, I began to learn how to put my pages together a bit more coherently! Not all of my pages turn out like the ones I have shared, here, either! Those I push to the backs of the albums (tee hee!). And I think the number one big push that I got to understanding how to do a layout was when I went to a Creative Memories class and then sold it for awhile, too.

Once I began to see my albums as a means in which to be creative and expressive, I got really excited and had to have everything! Now, I realize that it is not neccessary to own all the doo dads in order to make a cute layout.

You will have fun as you begin to think outside of your comfort zone. Don't get overwhelmed. If you do just walk away and come back to it later. And copy all of our layouts, if you want. That helps to take someone else's work and tweek it a little to make it yours. Have fun!

I am excited to see what you do!
