good question, wish i could help out out. i was thinking the same thing, oh and welcome to SAS. there is alot of very talented women here, who i am sure can help you out.
I am currently trying out my first tear bear! So much fun! But I am quite worried that it is not going to turn out so great. I am waiting for my pieces to dry so that I can "fluff" them up!
I feel like my pieces are not quite accurate. The instructions that I was following indicated that I should trace my pattern onto the mullberry paper leaving a half-inch for wetting and tearing. On this small of a thing, a half-inch is pretty big! Don't you think?
How do you tear your tear bears?

no not really I don;t think. If you left much smaller it would be too hard to tear. Once you have made one, you can judge what works for you.
