For those of you who like to listen to audio books, here is one that I just finished. It is wonderful! It is written very creatively and weaves a story about a young girl to adulthood, from the time of the civil war on to the early 1900's. It is called [I] Agate Hill by Lee Smith Wow! I got tired of scrapping but could not stop because I did not want to stop listening to the story!!!!

Do you have any suggestions for a good 'read'?

That's a neat idea to listen to those while scrapping, I never thought of doing that. Sometimes I listen to webcasts during the day while I work. There's one I like to listen to on Wednesdays 3 pm. EST or 12 pm PST. www.divacraftlounge.com

Hmm I have never done the audio books before, my SIL had a bunch when she drove from Alaska to Eglin AFB in FL.

I would look for authors I love to read. My favorites are Nicholas SParks, James Patterson, and Danielle Steel. I love to read mysteries and romance personally. THe library has tons of them too, maybe look there.

she went to my neck of the woods!

my Aunt and Uncle were stationed in Alaska for a while.

hmm I'm listening to Nonrequired reading 2004 It's a bunch of short stories. Some of them are fairly interesting. I only really picked it up cause Viggo Mortensen reads the intro.

I usually only listen to audio books in the car. So I try to pick stuff I've read before like Neil Gaiman's American Gods or am at least familiar with like the LOTR.
