What is the best type of scrapbook glue? I bought some that comes out purple, but it seems to show up a little on white paper.

I only use glue to put down cardstock or something other than pictures on my paper because it can tend to curl. Office Depot cheapie glue sticks work very well. For pictures I like the Duck Brand adhesive which you can get at WM in the office supply section or JoAnn's. If you have a JA, it comes in a four pack and you can use a coupon on it so it's much cheaper.

I use only photo tabs for photos.
If you want your photos falling off your pages, use a glue stick. Glue sticks are only good for paper to paper glueing, not photos to paper.
Go to your craft store in the scrapbooking setions and there will be a section of glues.
You will find good ones there.
Oh and don't ever use liquid glue.
Duck brand tape runner is a good tape runner.
