oh how true!!

I was again bloghopping last night when I came upon this
http://thena.typepad.com/my_weblog/2...y-the-dig.html
The Day the Digital Camera Broke
When Mommy reached into her purse
To take her camera out
That something was amiss
She knew without a doubt.
The lens cap had been lost
And she saw an ugly crack
Probably happened at the store
When she gave the door a whack.
She was unable to take the photos
Of baby in her crib awaking
And was so glad that she had
Those photos she had been taking.
When she went to pick up the baby
The baby didn’t seem to know
Who was standing in her room
And signs of distress did show.
When she went to pick up the kids
Who had gone to school that day
She watched them for awhile
As they were outside at play.
They didn’t seem to notice
That she was at their side
Until she told them to come on
So they could take a ride.
They stared at her in disbelief
As if something indeed was missing
Even as they said hello
And her cheek they were kissing.
The youngest put his hand upon her face
And rubbed back her longish hair
Saying “Oh, Mommy! I didn’t recognize you
Without your camera there!
Thena
oh how true!!

Good one!
I do know the feeling. When I was in Florida during Spring Break I lost my camera! My son was playing in a HUGE college baseball tournament and when I got back to our room I noticed it was gone. My DH still thinks someone took it. If so, I hope they enjoy it.
You find some of the funniest things when you are blog hopping! Keep them coming. I need funny stories in my life a lot. Thanks!!

How cute! My dgc almost don't recognize me now, since my digital camera broke!
