I must be doing something wrong. I have been trying to post pictures and I keep getting a message that my file is not a bitmap format. I clicked on the picture and I want to resize the resolution. When I click to send it to paint it comes up saying that it isn't a bitmap format. Please help.

Is the trouble with uploading to this site, or is it in trying to get your pictures into the MS Paint program?

If it's the latter, what is the suffix of your file? The suffix is the three letters after the dot -- picture.jpg or picture.bmp

I can't get into the paint program to change the resolution of my pictures. I have them now at 1600X1200 I need to get them smaller so I can post my cards. I did this once before I know but forgot how I did it. LOL

Try these directions posted by Avonchick:

when you post a reply hit the REPLY that has a BLUE Arrow (full posting form) at the top you will see a tool bar with the first box is a smiley face. NEAR THE END of the bar. (second to last box) if you click that it will ask you to Display image. Find the image's address (usually easy in photobucket) type it into the space provided and hit the OK button. Now your set.

(You WONT see the add attachment option. YOU HAVE TO USE THE TOOL BAR AT THE TOP OF THE POSTING BOX)

This will NOT work for pics thatyou have stored on your computer though. You have to put in an actual address where the pic is stored. (I usually just upload everything to my PHotobucket account and go there, Also helps to save space on my hard drive, i don't have to store all my graphics)
