I am trying some different things - hoping to come up with wildflower cards to make.
I have a couple people intrested in putting in their shop/restaurant.
If I put a sentiment - like Happy Birthday - it limits the card so I am wondering
if I put the verse i put on the Bloodroot
Wishing you butterfly mornings and wild flower afternoons
they could be used for anything - even a get well card since I leave the insides blank.
    What do ya'll think?

I think that's a good idea. It gives the most versatility and you want your cards to appeal to as many people as possible.

That really is a fantastic idea. Maybe you could come up with just one or two more saying similiar.

Great Idea. I have been thinking about doing something similar with simple verses on vellum so the purchaser could insert the verse that best suits to occasion.

Janelle, I like your idea and Gail's. You do want to appeal to the greatest number of people. Some people are going to want a card for a specific occasion, so I think I would do some of each. If you do a few of both types, then just restock with what is selling, you will soon learn which shoppers prefer.

I learned when I was doing craft shows that something may not sell for months, then everyone wants one. So my suggestion is to test out the market. You'll soon learn what is their favorites.

Some good ideas - I remember when I was purchasing cards (enons ago) I liked it when the outside and inside were free of words - it gave me the freedom to write what I wanted in a pretty card that I liked & I'd usually end up writing a note using all the empty space.

Janelle - I also think you're flowers speak for themselves - they're gorgeous. Whatever you decide will work well.

I love the "butterfly" saying. It would work with so many different things. I think also having a few more sayings & some just blank would be good too. You're cards are so beautiful. I'm sure they will be a big success.

I like that idea too of the "universal" saying.
The card can be an all occasion card that way.
