OK my question is how to do the shadows? I read the book and I did it the way it said but I still cut two of the exact same size words. I used the All Mixed Up cart and it says it has the option to do it. I have no clue what I did wrong. Please help!! I love the way it looks on LO's.

You cut your word/letter out "regular". Then you push the shadow button and cut the same thing again. It should be just slightly bigger than the original.

Good question. I have not noticed, but is there a shadow button on all of the cartridges? Is this how you can matte an image? If not, what is the shadow feature for???

Cheryl, that is basically what the shadow function does. I only have the George and WIMG cartridges and it's on both of those.

I've used it on George with no problem. I think it's on most of them.

press the "shadow" button first, (it'll say something on the scree like "feature 4" or something like that) then do your text. I've never had a problem doing it that way.
