I sent him an e-mail a few hours ago and all ready got a response!
I copy and pasted his response and my orginal e-mail.

    hi Melissa-

the grungeboard can be cut using the sizzix or cuttlebug die-cut machines. you can also emboss using the cuttlebug embossing folders. I have not tried the cricut, but just understand you can cut the grungeboard with whatever would normally cut chipboard. as for just a swirl or heart set, I have tried to provide the most assortment in the pack of elements. I understand many people want specific shapes or letters which is why I also have just sheets of grungeboard called “basics” it is a pack of (10) 8”x5” sheets that come in the 5 different textures and can be made into whatever you would like – even book covers. hope this helps…

    Subject: grunge board cutting

    Hello,

I know the sizzix will cut it because someone on a message board showed a flower they did. I'm wondering what the best Cricut setting is. The lady who runs the LSS might be worried if I try to put it in there.

I'm loving the grunge board set I bought a plain shapes set. Some talk on my boards though, would you ever offer just a set of swirl patterns and set of hearts etc? For myself with no children the skulls would accumulate for quite a while if I kept buying the set for swirls, hearts and arrows.

    Thank You!

    Melissa

Does the grungeboard smell? I heard it did, but that sounded odd.

How nice to have someone actually answer your questions. That is the mark of someone who cares about their product and it's use.

LOL now watch him use something pink

Yeah got another response because I e-mailed about the cuttle bug. I put a heart shaped grunge board in an embossing folder and man that was hard to roll! I was thinking some of the people on the board with arthritis and sholder problems wouldn't be able to run that thing through but I did it just like he did.

Uh the grunge board has a leathery smell. I wasn't sure how to describe it but that's what someone said on lpclub and that's what it is. With all my allergies I have no since of what stuff smells like

    Ziggy
