How to make a Scrapbook page kit
This is a helpful trick to cut scrapbooking time in half. Organization is the key to a speedy scrapper. To make a Scrapbook kit is simple.

First find the photos you want to scrap.
Second find the paper you are going to make as you background.
Third gather embellishments or accents, such as ribbon, brads, die-cut, eyelets or stickers. This could also be brochures or pamphlet from a park, a play or school ceremony.
Forth decide what type of lettering you want, such as handwriting, stickers, die-cut.
Fifth if you have a special poem or quote you want to add to the photo.
The last step would be to put all of the items together in a page protector or a 14inch zipper bag depending on the size of your scrapbook.

This is helpful in making pages, you could make up 5 or 6 page kits at a time this works well if you have extra stuff you want to use up right away. Add all the tools you would need such as punches and die-cuts anything really, this will help you make great pages and you have all ready done the hard part of finding everything you want on the page and putting it together.

I usually do that before I go to a friend's house to SB. I didn't realize that I was making a kit...I was just trying to save time for when I got there. I don't usually scrapbook that way, but for going to a crop or whatever it's a big help.

I have been doing this for a while when I am going to crops and for projects I am planning of the future, ie:fall, holidays, birthdays etc.

    I use an accordian life.

I keep on with what you call kits in my Crop in style Navigator ready to take with me to crops I go to on a regular basis this way I am ready at any moment to go.

Great Idea Janice, thanks for sharing it with everyone!

Peace is the cure for all!
