    Hi everyone,

I bought some swirly stamps from Wally World the other day and was thinking of using them on the edge of a photograph in a LO. Is there a certain type of ink that works better than others?

I have had no trouble using Versafine Chalk ink pads. I over stamp on my photos often. It is a wonderful accent.

Judy, thanks for your reply! Last night I tried this with some Creative Living ink that I picked up at the Dollar store last year, and it seems to have worked out ok on this practice picture.

Now to just figure out what to do with the 5 x 7 version of this picture on a LO.

Tee Hee! Isn't it FUN? You are going to have so much fun thinking of ways to add creative life to photos using these stamps. The photo you have shared with us looks super! You can also take Perfect Medium (which is a clear glue) on the cardstock part of your Layout and sprinkle some embossing glitter or textured powders and set it with an embossing gun, using the swirls to accent corners and such. Or take a general clear glue and use it on the stamps and then stamp your photos, adding very fine gitter glue on it (be sure to let this dry before proceeding and be sure to wash your stamp thoroughly.). Keep the heat of the glue gun away from your photos or else they will curl or pucker.

That looks great Leen. I've used acrylic paint with foam stamps. That works pretty well, too.

What a great idea! Now why hadn't I thought of doing that before? As long as I've been scrapping you would think that I'd already know how to do that. Well, as long as I'm still learning, I know I'm still living!
