You can use them to put baked goods in for Christmas presents. That's a great idea you have Stacy.

They have "metal rims at the top and metal at the bottom but the middle is cardboard...

I tested my cropadile and it will punch a hole and put a grommet in it....so I can add a handle...

If anyone alters one before I get to it please post....

I held onto so many cans when my son was a baby but never figured anything out to do with them. I ended up throwing them all away. I would love to see what someone will come up with.

You can alter it just like a paint can. Put anything in it that you would a paint can.

Aahhh, the formula can. I have used these things for more things than I can count! I made favor buckets for my sons third birthday party with them, decorated in the dinosaur theme. I also made classic pooh ones for a friends daughter's birthday party. I made a bucket full of craft supplies (die cut self adhesive foam shapes, glitter glue, pon-pons, you get the idea) for my son and one for his best buddy for his birthday; they like doing crafts together. I have used them instead of gift bags (just threw out the lid and stuffed with tissue paper), and for baked goods also. My first altered formula can was covered with fabric and held sugar for my coffee. The only down side is that they are bulky to collect (13 for one birthday party)- at one point I had a whole laundry hamper full of them!
