What is your opinion...to me as a new scrapbooker, it seems like a waste of paper; but maybe not

I can see one on an 8x8 or 6x6 but not a 12x12, I pack in the photos. the more the better I say. I am with you a waste of paper for one pic.

Occassionally, depending on the photo I will use 1 8x10 or a 5x7 on a 12x12 scrapbook page!

Alot of it depends on the photo and how much you want the focal point of that LO to be that one pic. I do it once it a while usually if I have just one on the page it will be a 5x7 or 8x10. Sometimes I'll go for odd sizes, 5x5 or 6x6. I love to play with the photos and laying out the design.

I just did my second ever page using only one photo. I'll try to get a picture of it up. Just have to remember how to do it.

It makes sense that you could do 1 picture if it was larger...sometimes they seem to be the cutest instead of cluttering lots of misc pictures on one page.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I really like one picture pages. I don't worry about wasting paper or room. My mom commented to me about one I did and said "that's a lot of work for one photo" and I replied that it wasn't making a photo album and that the particular layout was about that photo that I loved. I think I have it in my gallery. I can't remember how to get to it. Cindy or Janice, do you guys rememeber how to get to that?

Cassie, I couldn't remember how to get there so I started using the myscrapbookphotos.com, lol. Your layouts are beautiful. I really like doing the layout I did with the one photo because the emphasis is on that one photo.
