Ok, ladies. For those of you who alter anything and everything, lol, how in the heck do you get the paint on the soda tabs to be solid and not streaky? Mine aren't coming out so well.....

what kind of paint are you using Cindy?

With the nail polish it took a couple of coats for me to get it right. But LoriS. would be the expert on this- she has done a lot of experimenting in theis dept. -mad scrappin' scientist that she is!!

OK, so the paint just scratches right off. I tried sanding one first and it still didn't work. SO, I need some help here guys. I wanted to paint some for the bottle swap but it's just not working well.....

Mad scrappin' scientist checking in lol.

Cindy, if you are using spraypaint you need to use a primer first, the pop tabs have some sort of finish on them that makes them a bit tricky, also you need to have enamel paint, no matte spray paint or flat spray paint.

I just coated mine with acrylic paints I had. Looked kinda dull afterwards but I thought that's what someone else had shown them painted with. opps hope my eggs swap came back ok

Anything special if I'm using acrylics? The other thing I have is alchol ink, haven't tried it yet.

acrylic does not stick to slick surfaces glass, plastic, metal. They do make a paint for metal that comes in the acrylic type bottles and it is in that section of the store but I don't think it's an actual acrylic. Alcohol inks are suposed to work I haven't tried them on the metal yet.
