I just have to share this with those of you who have been having problems with your Cricuts. Since I have purchased two packs of blades and an extra pack of mats, each of those have had manufacturing problems! Some of the mats have bumps on the sides that make accepting them into the machines difficult. The bumps can be pressed out with the head of a nail. So, if you have loading issues, look for the bumps and press them out. The other issue is that a batch of blades went out without being sharpened! Unfortunately, I apparently have purchased one of those packages of blades, hence the ripped paper.

My machine has other 'bugs' too for which the company is very happily sending out a replacement today and should arrive tomorrow!!!

Taffy, had me check out the Cricut support forum and you can also find other suggestions and discuss problems with others who are very helpful. So, don't get to the point of tearing out your hair as I was...call the Cricut people or check out their online support. They were the friendliest and most helpful service/support department I have ever dealt with.

I found out today when I was at the Mikes for the SB discovery day, the Cricut had a computer port on the back and the co is working on the softwear to make it computer compatible. It looks like they planned to be a cheaper competitor of the WB. I was talking to a rep who had talked to the co this week.
