Okay the question is I have the Sizzix sidekick would I like the cuttlebug better? Can you use anyones die with it also? I guess I am wondering if I would get more use out of it for the great price I heard about. TIA for all the help!

I think if I was choosing b/e the two I would get the cuttlebug. It's bigger and you can fit more stuff through it like the embossing folders which are too wide for the sidekick. I think I would get the big shot over both of those, though, so you can use everything in it.

YES! to all questions above! (okay, maybe I am partial )
and since the C-bug takes full size dies and those great embossing folders (large and small), and that alone makes it more useful that the sidekick (which I also have, and still use for the quick, small things). It also comes with a thicker plate to do QK dies without the black adapters. It can be used with the large dies on the market: sizzix, ellison, bigz...

I would get the Cuttlebug over a sidekick too. Simply because you can use all the dies and the larger size too the are for the Big Kick. I am loving my cuttlebug!!

I really like my CuttleBug also. I was able to get a very good deal by using a 50% coupon. Now I'm buying dies of all kinds to use with it.

I think the Big Shot, I went to Michaels yesterday to pickup the creade pad you need for the folding type die cut (cards and boxes sizzix came out with) and held it up to the cuttlebug pads and it was about 1/4 to 1/2 inch wider.

At CKC in Charlotte, I picked up Sizzix dies for $2.50 to use with my CuttleBug. I enjoy being able to use any die with it.
