I was commissioned by a colleague to make this tin. How much should I charge? Materials about $9.00. Painted it yesterday and finished it this morning total about 3 1/2 hours.
I appreciate any and all comments.

    Thanks
    Gail

It's gorgeous Gail! I think I would say in the neighborhood of $25 - $30.

I think $25 to $30 sounds good, too.
You'd be suprised, though, some people who are not crafty at all would pay a lot more. Sometimes I think we underestimate what we should charge.

    It's came out beautiful BTW.

Lovely. I've never done an altered anything, but with you expenses, the common way crafters are told to price items are 3.5 times your cost. That would be about $31.50, but I would ask $35. If they can't do crafts, but have looked into others, they'll pay that price.

The general rule of thumb would be all of your cost times 3 or 4. So I'd charge $27.00.
