Sherwin Williams has some very cool paint samples. They have some with the ragging technique which each have two different colors. They also have ones for their suede finish paint, and a sand finish. I used the sand finished ones to make a couple of seashells for a beach layout I did. They look very neat. Just thought I'd share.

Any store that sells paint will have paint chips. I us them for die cutting.

Yes they do. But I know the ones at Sherwin Williams come with more than one color on the sample. And they have different textures also. Wal-Mart has some by Kilz, which I've used, but I found that when I used them in a die cutter the edges chipped. I'll have to check Duron to see what types of samples they have.

Try Lowe's or Home Depot, they have TONS of the big samples. They are really easy to cut. They even carry the Disney line of paints.

I think I've seen that before.

Supposidly you can get the words off the paint chips with a dry Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I found it very time consuming and it didn't all get off. Wetting it just made the strip tear where it joined with the other colors.

Very neat site. Thanks for sharing it. I've got it bookmarked. Seeing as hubby is a painter, I've got LOTS of strips to use up . So far I've taken the samples, a hammer, a heat gun and I'm trying to get some drywall tape out of him too! lol. He thinks I'm crazy hehehehe.

I specify paint all the time and have access to bigger sizes. If anyone needs any larger samples other than the strips, I can order them. Sherwin Williams will even send me 8 x 10's. I have boxes of samples about 3"x 4" of SW. I can also get all the other major brands Sometimes I cut stuff out of paint samples with my sizzix if I can't find the perfect color of cardstock to use.

Stampin' Up! - Please PM me to order
