I am interested in getting some alphabet stamps and not sure which direction to go. I saw the Karen Foster ones that connect together. Does anyone have these? or suggestions of good ones that you have?

I have one set of the making memories foam alphabet stamps and I love them! They re big enough to really pop on your page and you can paint them any color to match. They re not expensive either! I haven t used other kinds. I would buy more of these! Sherry

Michaels is now selling the clear stamps so you can make sue everything is lined up just right. I have never used them not a big stamper but I have seen them on the Q and it was something that look so easy to use.

I seem to have a collection of different kinds. I love Technique Tuesday (clear acrylic). They are pricey but I had a discount. I also have MM foam, Lil Davis and some wooden ones. I love them all.

I have some clear ones from Michaels that I never use. My favorites right now are the foam ones from Making Memories. I use them with acrylic paint. You can get cheap acrylic paints in the back of the craft stores like ACMoore by the wood things. I got bottles on sale for .25 (much cheaper than MM). They are virtually acid free according to the manufacturer (Anita's and color traditions)

You can put the paint on the acrylic and red rubber stamps also. There is a difference between the craft paint and MM paint. There is less water in the MM paint, so it won't curl your pages as much. It is really noticable on thin paper. But you can use them both.

    Enjoy!

I haven't had any trouble with water in the acrylics. I do have 3 bottles of MM paints, but haven't tried them. It'll be interesting to see the difference.
