I am totally supposed to be cleaning my house, but I woke up this morning with this idea in my head and it just wouldn't go away (really!), so I HAD to stop and do it. I masked off the back of the acetate and heat embossed it with Kaleidoscope embossing powder. On the front I stamped and heat embossed with sparkle red powder. Added a fiber to the tag and will add it to this gorgeous, gorgeous wrapping paper I bought from my DGS called 'Holly Berry'. The 'name' of the wrapping paper is even pretty don't ya'think ?

This is not perfect as I was just playing with the idea really quick to check it out, but will look pretty on my packages .

Just thought of something! My DD's will be able to use their tags on their scrap pages. How cool is that- two uses in one?!

very nice! Love the sparkels. I should be cleaning my house too finding things to procrastinate even more

now do you have to use acetate to do the embossing or can you use a transparency? I've got some of that left over.

Girl you are so smart. That is very unigue as well as pretty. Need to try that with transp as I KNOW my WM does not carry acetate.

I don't think that a transparency would take the heat from the heat gun. The stuff I'm using is actually called 'Dura-lar' and it's made to take the heat.

Donna and I found Dura Lar today at Hobby Lobby and they even had kind with peel and stick adhesive on the back. But you wouldn't be able to stamp or emboss on the sticky side but if you just wanted to do something on the front the built in adhesive was cool. Also I totally forgot this when you are opening packages over the holidays, pay attention! The clear stuff that is often in the front of toys so you can see into the box is acetate. And although it is often scratched if you are going to do an allover emboss it will hide the scratches or even if you just stamped a design that didn't have a lot of open area.

Oops forgot to mention the tag rocks Barb!
