    Disaster!
I store all of my various whole sheets of paper in a huge, lined wicker basket on my counter...

tonight the cold water pipe that leads to the shower started leaking and apparantly had leaked for awhile before we noticed it around 11 pm - and wouldn't you know it's not just over my scrap table in the room down below it- but over my paper!

A LOT of paper is ruined cardstock, patterened paper, stack of alphabet punch outs sheets. I am sick about it!

Will start experimenting with ironing paper, and will salvage what I can...

Oh my gosh Christi - Don't know what I would do if my addiction (paper) was destroyed. Hope you can salvage a lot of it.

OH NO CHRISTI!!! I'm about to cry for you! OK, well on the "bright" side, do you have an ACM near you? Their open stock patterned paper is on sale 5/$1. Oh, I wish I could send you some of mine.

Christi you can iron your paper dry, med heat, no steam (like duh) put some towels down on top of your washer or dryer and iron there, that way you don't get to close to the edge of the ironing board and iron a crease into a 12 by 12

you know I was having a hard time deciding whether to do 12x12 or 8x8 albums for my DD's baby pics, looks like God and my plumbing decided for me. Many of the papers that got the worst of it, I can still salvage 8x8 size peices from.

thnaks for the positive thoughts guys!

Cinders and ashes, says Thomas the Tank Engine. (That's harsh cussing at our house.) I can't believe that, Java. Sick-uh-ning. I can just see your scrap space in my mind (because I have seen a picture) and yikes. So sorry to hear.
