Today my kids and I tried one of the projects in Creating Keepsakes the "Scrapbooking with Your Kids" book. These were lots of fun and my 7 year-old made hers without any help at all. They look WAY better in real life (all the glitter isn't showing). If anyone needs something to do with the kids this weekend...this one was a great one that kept their interest. I can post instructions if anyone wants them.

Look great. And like lots of fun. You can do trees the same way, and stars. That is, if its cut, fold, glue together. If it isn't, directions please.

Jay Kay - that's pretty much it. I'm posting the pages from the CK book (am I allowed to do that?) for Karen.

I used to do this with my classes back when we could talk about, decorate the classroom, and have fun with Christmas in school. Some had trouble cutting the shapes so that they matched-up, but that was the beauty of having something they did themselves.
Make 3 different circle sizes and a hat, string them with a space between the different size circles, and you have a snowman or snow woman.

Oh, I love that snowman idea, maybe we'll try that tomorrow and Christmas trees. They could glue on jewels for ornaments.
My daughter didn't have any trouble with matching the shapes, but my son did - I just helped him. The cutting we did with my cricut. I just let them pick out the papers they wanted, I loaded them in and then they dialed the sizes and pushed cut. They enjoyed that part, too.
