I noticed a some message board a few weeks back that someone was using self-adhesive drywall tape instead of buying scrapbooking mesh. My husband gave me a roll of yellow. Does anyone know if it comes in other colors?

I have seen it in the paint department in Walmart. Think it was tan. Not sure. I have never used it, but would like to try it on a LO. Post a picture when you do the LO.

I have white and I chalk whatever color I want onto it. I think it may come in colors, though. I need to look into that one.

Thanks Cass - Funny, I looked all over Home Depot one day for it and had been asking my son who is a builder if he had any and he kept forgetting to bring it and then one day I asked my husband if he knew where I could find it and he comes out with the yellow.

You can ink, paint, or chalk the white one to make any color you want.

I did a layout I could post with white tape that I chalked blue. I'll post it in the photo album area when I get a chance.

    Okay, I posted it here

It's a small photo, but you can see the drywall tape is used on top of the horizontal strips of patterned paper above and below the photo. I hope this helps.

What a neat idea! I just learned of a technique using masking tape and ink, looks like I will be raiding hubbie's tool chest again!
