OK ladies - it's a good deal, but fill me in on why you would need one of these if you have a cuddlebug and sizzix. I've never used one of these.

Is this the machine that can use other companies dyes? Or --- is that one of the others? I get them all mixed up.

the Sidekick you can only use thin dies, but it will take the Sizzlits as well as quick cutz, altho with quick kutz you need adaptors (shims)

Which machine is the one that will use all competitors' dye cuts, thick or thin?

Maybe it was on HSN on the Saturday morning scrapbook party they do every Saturday that I saw it. Just can't remember which machine it was. Does anyone know? Is there a Big Kicks maybe or something like that? Is that the one that can do all others?

I guess if I were to purchase one, I would like to get the one that uses all competitors' dyes, too.
