But it's a DRY heat!

I know a lot of you live in areas that have a lot more humidity than we do here in Arizona. We, in turn, have higher temperatures. That's why you will often hear us say "But it's a dry heat". I wasn't so sure this morning. Ran a bunch of errands & it was hot & sticky (by our standards). One of the stops was Hobby Lobby to get some Silica Gel (like for drying flowers). They had the kind that has the blue particles that turn pink when they have absorbed all the moisture they can. Since I don't want the blue pieces I started picking them out. I spread it out in a pink meat tray. I noticed it was getting harder to tell the blue pieces from the others. That's because they were turning pink & against the pink tray they looked clear. I checked the weather; temp 96°, humidity 35% & dew point 66°. Just wondered what happens to the stuff in REALLY humid areas.
