    starting next one

Working on the next mock up so when the photos get here (Wed.?) I'll have a head start. This chair was originally my DH maternal grandmothers. He remembers it growing up & also, having it in his own home. DS has it now & brought it to DH to fix a broken leg. DH decided the seat fabric looked worn so we went about recovering it. Since DH & DS were both military the chair has been all over the world. Thought the script paper denoted the sentimental value & the post card one the wanderings of it. Not sure what to use for title (& sub-title) & have to the journal-ling to tell the story. Ideas, suggestions, opinions? (The blue is only the clipping mask not what the panel will be.) And, no, I don't have a shot of "before". Wish I did but hubby had it apart before I knew it.

Wow! So DH should have known better and took a before picture. Awesome story but I'm not sure of a good title. There's a commercial out now about all the seats in life (I think it's a PSA of some sort to fit children into the right car seat?). Maybe you could get inspiration from that.

Thinking of "If this chair could talk - the tales it would tell" for title/subtitle.

    Maybe "Memories" for the title.

I Googled 'chair quotes' and then 'antique quotes' and looked at the images:

Realized I only had one piece of the light brown across the middle & it isn't enough. What do you think of this one? Also, trying to see what a narrow burgandy mat would look like.

I love the thin burgundy mat. It draws the eye to the finished chair.
