. . . a scrapbook hoarder? Sometimes I look at my scrapbook room & wonder if I am hoarding or is all of it really necessary. I know a lot I bought on sale because I might need it someday but that someday hasn't come yet for a lot of it so am I just preparing for every eventuality or am I hoarding? Ever feel this way?

yes... but don't' want to get rid of it! lol I've had that feeling when I look in my scrap room... but it has gotten to be a drop spot since I do most everything at the store now a days. I've been wanting to get it picked up and organized for those nights when I can't sleep.

It's a difficult thing to define. My 'rules' are, as long as I can still craft in my craft room, it's a storehouse for inspiration. If I could no longer craft in it due to unopened stockpiles of stuff, I would be a hoarder. Lol!

Sometimes I think I ought to purge but then, I find a use for a piece & think "I'm glad I didn't get rid of that. The lo I just did is an example. I had several scrap pieces of the red foil I used for the matting on the VFB medallion that I wanted to use for the photos as well. If I hadn't found the scraps I wouldn't have had enough. A couple of the pieces were very small but big enough to do the 2 small photos. So i guess it isn't hoarding, it's being frugal.

I'm going through that right now. I'm trying to get my stuff organized into a way that it's easier and more efficient for me. It's not working because I keep finding more stuff I forgot about!
