    Affectionately Yours Waterfall Folio Album

Thanks to Maria, I was able to put this little album together pretty quickly with some of the new SU designer series paper that is coming out in a week or so. Thank you very much for the tutorial and for posting pictures of your own album, Maria. I enjoyed making this one and learned a bit about how to make any future ones! I was pretty happy with this one though. Aren't the papers nice?

Thank you, everyone! It was not hard at all and I do love those new papers So glad you liked it! Thank you again Maria for sharing yours and for the instructions.

I would have liked the spine inside to be a little smoother. I did add strong tape to the inside spine, and you can see where, and maybe next time I wouldn't do that. I was wondering if a wet glue would work better, or nothing at all on the inside paper for the spine. What did you do, Maria? The spine moves a lot so maybe it needs to be totally anchored.

I noticed this with the 2nd one I am making. The spine kept bubbling up. I don't recall that being a problem the 1st time.
I scored it before taping it down and think you need to work from the spine out. I'm not really sure but I'll try watching the video again and see what's up with that.

That is beautiful, Susan. The papers are lovely. I forgot what you said you were going to use this for? This really does look like a fun project and would make a great gift.

Thanks for experimenting and researching the spinal issue, Maria.

LuAnn, glad you like it. I had no purpose in mind when I made this, actually, other than to see if I could make one! Lol! I am thinking about what photos to put in it. It would actually make a nice record of my quilts? Or I could make a granny brag book of all the grandchildren? Hmm. I'll let you know when I decide.
