I was just wondering if anyone has found a tool that actually works for cutting paper when using a stencil. I have tried four different things so far but the straight blades on most cutters just don't handle going in different directions.

Hello and Welcome!! I have the coluzzle and the knife for it swivel so you can cut curves. Its the only one that I know of. You have to use it on a special mat. But the whole thing is very reasonable.

another thing to try is flip the stencil over and trace it on the back of your paper, then use the pencil lines to cut using your craft knife, much easier since the stencil isn't in the way and for some of the shape you can even use your fine detail scissors or cuticle scissors. Flip it over when your done and no pencil marks and any scratches from not being perfect with the craft knife are on the back side!
