And stupid me, I bought 3 more similar projects. This one is 300x310 stitches & the others are 350 square. I can see what I will be working on for the next 3 years. hahahaha

Hey, that's a good thing, right Carol? It is hard to find good designs that you like or at least that is what my cross stitching mother says. She is always looking for interesting faces to stitch, especially of older people.

Susan, have your mother look at the xs-collectibles site if she wants some thing interesting to stitch. They also have a host of other types of patterns. http://www.xs-collectibles.com/

Making some progress. Almost done with page 5. One more page for this row, then 4 more rows.

Page 6 is done. And, for some reason I was looking at another fractal pattern & discovered that the supply list was wrong. When I notified the company they sent me another pattern (of my choice) so now have yet another one I can do.

Page 7 took a little longer because I had company over the weekend & couldn't stitch as much.

I can't believe how fast you are. This is going to be one gorgeous piece when you are finished. I'm in awe.

Thanks, Lulu. I thought that it was going very slowly. Started this on Sept. 17 & I'm not even a third of the way done. Picked up the floss for another one the other day while M's had a 30% off total regular priced stuff. Getting stuff on sale when I can. That one takes 108 skeins of floss (74 colors). The fabric for another should be in the end of this week or next. DD saw the butterfly one & put dibs on it. Guess I get the sunburst instead. Years of stitching ahead. Started checking out cross stitch message boards & there's a whole world of different patterns that I never knew existed. Shouldn't ever run out of things to do. Just people to give them to. lol
