Luann, love how that turned out. Beautiful. I just tried to ink the edges. But making it solid looks so much better. Really pops.

This turned out really nice!...For lighter colors, you need to seal the wood before inking...

So I made a couple more cards. I painted the greetings black and then a pattern using background stamps. I added my own CS to finish the cards. I painted the rest of the greetings. The black graduation will be used for my DD's graduation page. I'll have to figure out how I'll use the other two that I painted with a metallic blue paint. I have a few of the card bases left. I'm not sure how I'll use them.

This is what I did with the last of my card bases for this month's kit. I used the hearts from April's kit. I stamped using the stamp, glued on the heart outline and then tied floss around the middle of the heart and popped dot it.

then I stamped and colored the girl on a beach. I tried to make it look like a sunset but I'm not sure I like how it turned out.

OMG these turned out great! I missed the ones from the 17th! I have a lot of wood veneer pieces that I will now bravely paint or ink... gorgeous!
Also love the popped heart w/the string on the bday cards... beautiful touch. The girl at the sunset is beautiful... nice work, LuAnn, as always! TFS.
