I got to messing with a card page map today from September's maps. I got all my strips of pp on the card base and it just needed something. I have embroidery stitches on my sewing machine so I used gold metallic thread and an embroidery stitch in between the strips. I heat embossed the word Joy in gold to match the thread and the ribbon. The snowflake is Stickled, but it looks much more glittery in person. This one is for my DH and it's gonna be all mushy inside about how much joy he brings my heart.... shhhhh! Don't tell .

This picture really stinks! The ribbon is really a shiny, shiny gold and the thread is really shiny too.

That's beautiful! Funny, I was just looking at some metallic threads at Joann's on Saturday thinking that they would be cool to use on a page. Thanks for posting this, next coupon I'll get a thing of metallic thread although my sewing machine doesn't have any of the fancy stitches on it.

Oh Country, you did it again. That is fantastic. I LOVE the snowflake, (hehe, I love mine too). Your cards are really great. Shhh, I won't tell and I hope he enjoys the mushy on the inside.

Pretty! Pretty! I am just getting into making more cards and just bought more stickles and glitter. I have only used my little sewing machine once. Your card gives me lots of great ideas! Thanks!

Beautiful card. It will lend itself easily to a mushy inside. Tell me how you made the snowflake.

Very pretty card Barb, great detail and the stitching really gives it texture.
