Here's a thank you card made with a cuttlebug embossing folder in my sizzix. I just love those. I did a similar one at the ACMoore event this weekend. The raffia got a little smashed on the scanner.

Cass, love the card. Which Cuttlebug embossing card is that? I got the Cuttlebug about 4 weeks ago, then I got the Cricut about 3 weeks ago. I have to be careful about extras for it as DH said I had spent enough for the next 3 months. But what he doesn't know won't hurt him!!

Judith it's the D'vine Swirl. The great thing about the embossing folders is that they are fairly inexpensive, especially with a coupon, and they work in the Sizzix machine that I already have. I know what you mean about spending on extras. I just got the Cricut Expression and now I have to really watch what I spend!

I love this embossing die - did you also use paint on your card?

No, I didn't use paint. I just used three colors of cardstock, the raffia and the metal thing...really easy. I think I'm probably going to make lots of variations of this one since it's so quick and easy. Another reason to get another embossing folder!
