    Cream Cheese Sausage Balls

Found this recipe on-line somewhere a couple of months ago, sorry I don't remember where.

    Cream Cheese Sausage Balls

1 lb hot sausage, uncooked (I used regular)
    8 oz cream cheese, softened
    1 1/4 cups Bisquick
    4 oz cheddar cheese, shredded

    Preheat oven to 400F.

Mix all ingredients until well combined. (I use my KitchenAid mixer with the dough hook attachment)
Roll into 1-inch balls. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until brown.

Sausage balls may be frozen uncooked. If baking frozen, add a few minutes to the baking time.

Yummy, I wonder, do you think they would do the same if I used my chicken sausage? Thanks for posting this Cyndi!

I've never had chicken sausage, is it spiced up like regular sausage? If it is I think that it would do good.

It is spiced up, kind of reminds me of Mexican sausage, but milder...I get it a the butchers market in Chico...
