Lori - that's so neat and tidy, looks like a great idea too, takes up way less space then all of those spools o'ribbon in that one picture posted previously.

Ok, Lori, what do you do with the little pieces of ribbon that are only 3 or 4 inches long? They are long enough to use on a tag or something like that but not long enough to go around the card.

Wow Lori, those came out great. I didn't get to get on last nite nor take any pictures of mine. Now I don't have to! LOL Glad this system is working for you too. I love my ribbon this way and it's so easy to see and get to.
Judy I have a couple of small jars that I put those small pieces in, makes for a pretty addition to the decor. Also I have some in a small plastic bag in a drawer.

Judy, I just took my adhesive runner and adhered one tail to one side, wrapped it over the top and adhered the other end on the other side.

this system is great and it will grow with me!! I am also doing this with my "gulp" fiber see you all around July

Okay, I like this idea. I have a couple of questions.
Did you use cardboard from a box and cut to size?
You took all the ribbon off the spools they came on?
At the beginning and end of each ribbon how did you attach it to cardboard and hold the end tail on? Pin??
I need to get this mess of mine cleaned up and this looks great. Please help.

Thanks for the 'look-see'!! I am going to transfer my ribbons to this. It is just a large version of embroidery floss holders. Duh! So simple! You get the gold star for incorporating a wonderful way to store ribbons, Lori!

When you are finished will you come to my house and help me reconfigure my craft area in my unfinished basement? I am finally outgrowing my squashed office space. I'd feed, ya...!
