ok I'm finding the things on how to store your papers but how did you org your patteren papers? I tried to put it by color in this big green thing but it's so expanded it won't close and little pieces get lost.

    ok used photobucket

    Here's the green thing

    greenthing open

just SOME of the stash from the crop and that I bought because I have more PP than cardstock.

If you remember the how not to org pics a lot of what is under the coffee table in my room is paper and some of it 8X8 that a very nice SS sent me. so for 8X8 the green thing just loses the stuff. Also know there is scattered paper around the room either for projects that I've tried to single out or who knows why it got placed there.

I organize my paper first by brand (ex. basic grey, bohemian, heidi swapp, etc.) and then by style (ex. flowers, paisley, words, etc.). All my plain paper/cardstock is seperated by color and all my scraps are done the same way. Lisa

i have 2 Priority boxes slightly cut on an angle and have my papers in there. The first one is solid colors seperated by color. the other is for PP, and i grouped all like colors together (whatever the MAIN color is on the page). so far so good.

Zigg i was thinking about using a filer like what you use but was afraid all the paper would get creased when i closed it.

no but I can't close it so I guess that helps

ok that helps some, I can keep all the BG together.

Avon - the PO boxes, Lori tested some one day and the inside isn't acid free. If you can turn them inside out it's better because they have to treat the box to get that color and it's acid free on that side Just so you know before papers turn

There's a lady on my other board that was organizing and has clear storage things kinda like what I got at Michaels for some of my theme stuff and she grouped everything, paper, ribbon, other embelishments by color. Looked pretty cool but I don't know how well that'd work for me. Hmm maybe I can just steal some PO boxes when I go to the po next time

Ziggy, I have 4 of the white cubes with 5 shelves, from ACM, so I separated my paper by color, put them in scrap keepers, then put them on shelves. Most of the shelves will hold two scrap keepers. My scraps are stored in a plastic bin, sitting on top of my cubes.

LOL Taffy TY for callin last night.

I've got my BG papers in one craft keeper.

Ok how do you store 8X11 and 8X8 paper? I don't really want to shove it all in a 12X12 craft keeper.
