With all the new items/techniques up and coming, what 'old' technique haven't you used lately?

For me, it's embossing (both dry & wet).

I have never tried alcohol inks. Would not know what to do with them!

I have not chalked for awhile, or used my mesh tape... but that is probably an embellishment?

I've almost totally switched from eyelets to brads. Brads just seem a whole lot easier to me. I guess it's just matter of opinion though.

And I haven't done anyof those things. I don't have brads, chalk, or eyelets. I just recently got a heat gun for stamp embosing. I haven't done any yet....so I guess I need to do some.

I've never done chalking or embossing...or even stamping...or brads...or buttons. And until yesterday, I'd never set an eyelet. There are a lot of things I haven't done. That's one thing I like about swaps....I get forced to try things I've never done. Sadly for the recipients, they get to be my guinea pigs.

Great topic Taffy. I haven't done any dry embossing lately. Haven't done wet either... don't have a heat gun. Never tried the alcohol inks either. I just got a Walnut Ink on clearance and I have no idea what to do with it.
