Reply With Quotewell I broke down and bought it today at J's it was 40% off so I jumped on it. LOL boy I hope I made the right choice. I have the sidekick and I wanted something bigger for bigger dies and embossing. Thanks everyone for all the input on my question about this. Now to play with it.

Diana - do you know how the size of it compares to the Big Shot or Big Kick? I'm wondering which takes the larger dies.

Cass it will take the larger dies. I really don't know if it is bigger or not will check it out.
Okay ladies since I got this new toy is there anything I should have right away to use this. the sale is all week so if I need something I was to get while it is 40% off. So any help would be appreicated!

Diana, my favorite thing for the cuttlebug is the embossing folders, especially the larger ones. They are not expensive at all and really make cute cards,etc. I like some of the dies, but the cuttlebug doesn't really have big selection of dies that I'm crazy about; however, it's good that you can use other dies with it.

I saw some embossing plates from Sizzix the other nite while i was at Jo's and i must say..they're pretty kewl looken
(the embossing plates were made for the Big Kick i believe, but don't hold me to that.. )

Taffy, they might have been the ones that are made for the cuttlebug. That is my favorite thing about the cuttlebug is the embossing folders.

Taffy I went back to J's tonight and you are right about the folders for the Sizzix. They are great but I did not get them tonight. i got the other big ones for Cuttlebug but they all are 40% off. Great prices.
