I have been fighting with this for so long, I am about to put my foot through my computer. I have an hp officejet all in one. I have sheets of stamped images that I want to scan into the computer and then post as an attachment. When I saved the scan to paint it was too large to attach. But when I resized and posted you couldn't see any detail, So then I tried to grab just one of the image and saved that but it was still too big, because it counted all the white space around it as part of the image. I have paint and Microsoft photo to work with. Any tips? I have tried to do this in the past and just given up. Maybe I don't have the right programs?

Lori, I'm sorry, but I have a compaq, so I can't help you. Maybe someone will be able to. I have problems with doing that stuff on my 'puter too. I always call my DS who helps me. Have you called the HP support desk? When I had an HP, they were very helpful and would walk me thru most things.

well the problem isn't with the Hp it's with the other programs. I can scan it in just fine and then send it wherever but once it's there I can't manipulate it well not in a usable way anyway. lol

Lori, when I use paint to resize my pics, I use the image button. Then select stretch/skew. Change the numbers to 20%. That is always small enough to attatch and big enough to mostly see everything.
