I saw this idea for left over ribbon and I thought what a great idea...As if I need an excuse to hand on to more stuff. I guess it wouldn't be bad in a ziplock bag. In the example they used a circle punch put a flower punch would be adorable. Aslo a star punch with red, white, and blue ribbon would be cute as well.

??I was wondering besides the product they mentioned would there be something else you could use for stiffing ribbon.?? Something cheaper than what is mentioned.

That is really cool! I'm wondering in good ole' Elmers white glue would work. Even if you added a drop or two of water to make it thinner. It dries clear. That might be worth investigating.....

Really cute. I don't know why plain old fashioned laundry starch wouldn't work as long as your ribbon's color is fixed (which it will be if you got it in the sewing section). Ginny

Years ago on the DIY show, Sandy showed this same technique only using stickers instead of ribbons. It is a neat effect! Sue
